Derby County Player Ratings vs Southampton in the FA Cup 3rd Round

After a slow half an hour that could of seen us dead and buried Derby really grew into the game last night.

And we thought we was dead and buried when Redmond strolled through to make it 2-0 but the Rams fought back again to knock another Prem team out the cup.

Below are my ratings for last nights game:

Roos – 8 – made some great saves though didn’t have a great deal to do

Bogle – 5 – Looks very good one moment then very bad the next. Worked hard.

Keogh – 6 – Started a few attacks and winning peno but caught out for their 2nd goal.

Tomori – 9 – Brilliant again. Such composure for a young player as well as ice, power and passing ability

Malone – 6 – Decent return. Glad he’s back. Will improve.

Bryson – 6 – Worked hard. Still not convinced he’s the answer.

Mount – 7 – best he’s played for a while. Held the ball up well too.

Huddlestone – 8 – game suited him. Pulled strings despite lack of mobility.

Wilson – 7 – didn’t do much until the goal. Good to see him back

Waghorn – 8 – few sloppy touches but took goal well and looked exciting going forward. Need to find a place for him.

Marriott – 5 – struggled. Seem to be carrying a knock.

Subs:

Holmes – 7 – Looks great wherever he plays

Lawrence – 7 – Got in good positions but should have scored 2

Nugent – 2 – Miscontrolled and mispassed everything. Scored his peno only saving grace.

Bennett – 4 – Did nothing but didn’t have much time.
